Overview
These guards are designed specifically for your R3, following this motorcycles slick lines, while the black cover printed with the white R&G logo looks super awesome. This kit includes the left and right hand side engine case cover. Each cover is manufactured using vacuum formed rugged 4mm thick polypropylene which protects your motor from a grinding experience on pavement during a skid, tip over, or crash. The Engine Case Covers easily bolt directly over your OEM cases for impact and abrasion instances avoiding costly repairs. R&G uses polypropylene for its heat resistant properties. This material stands up to friction generated heat and actually slows down a skid. So even if your pride and joy is sliding down the track, you can breath a little easier knowing you have R&G guarding your YZF R3’s engine.
