R&G Front Axle Sliders / Protectors for Harley Davidson XR1200 '08-'12. These fork protectors were designed to help eliminate damage to the front axle during a drop, a skidding stop or a "Low Side". These axle sliders were designed and are being tested by the Sport Rider Magazines AMA race team. They are racing in the 2011 Vance & Hines XR1200 Series.
Special Note: Using a 6.2mm (1/4") drill bit you will need to drill out the (hallow) front axle from the left hand side. You will not have to drill through the whole axle. It is just enough to allow the slider hardware to pass through this end of the axle
