Overview
MWR Air Filters are built upon 2 decades of experience in developing and producing high performance air filters for road, race, and off road use.
This experience has been gained working with some of the biggest air filter companies in Europe in areas such as World MX, Dakar (bikes, cars and trucks), Moto GP, WSB, BSB, AMA and even Rallycross. The knowledge gained during this period was invaluable and led MWR to develop their range of performance foam filters.
These filters replace the Oe filter, inside the airbox. While still very good, they are not as good as the High Efficiency or Full Race versions that replace the airbox top (Link below)

The MWR Performance Airfilter = excellent performance and max. protection . Not a copy of the original filter , always searching for solutions regarding performance , protection or fitment , some models therefore deviate from the original.

The Race (RACE ONLY) air filter (MC-080-24-R)
The MWR Race Airfilter is developed on track , developed for racebikes NOT for roadbikes , not on dynometer but in real life , on track , professional racebikes with dataloggers . protection is on the same level as the performance filter & “HE” filter only for a shorter time due to the much more open structure of the foam materials.
Unlike all other sportsfilters the racefilter creates a much better , equal airflow over all cylinders , means you need to adapt fueling of all cylinders separately to achieve maximum effect of the “HE” filter . Concerns all twins , V-twins , three , four , and V4 engines
It makes the bike stronger and smoother, therefore it saves tires and fuel. Check the air filter every race weekend and always start each race weekend with a well oiled filter. This air filter is not developed to reduce the inlet noise. Due to the design features of this filter we do not recommend it for road use. Remapping the ECU or Fuel Control Module is highly recommended.
