MWR Air Filters are built upon 2 decades of experience in developing and producing high performance air filters for road, race, and off road use.
This experience has been gained working with some of the biggest air filter companies in Europe in areas such as World MX, Dakar (bikes, cars and trucks), Moto GP, WSB, BSB, AMA and even Rallycross. The knowledge gained during this period was invaluable and led MWR to develop their range of performance foam filters.
These filters completely replace the Airbox top, allowing for maximum airflow, but Directed to give the absolute Most airflow (and therefore power) possible! Remapping the ECU or Fuel Control Module is recommended (Pictures show them installed on the stock airbox - airbox is not included)
The HE (High Efficient) air filter (MC-075-24-HE) for road & race bikes
The MWR High Efficient Airfilter , for road and racebikes .The goal for the revolutionary design is to reduce the inlet noise and yet more power delivery . This design has shown a reduction of up to 8db compared to the other sportsbikesfilters .Unlike all other sportsfilters the “HE’ filter creates a much better , equal airflow over all cylinders , means you need to adapt fueling of all cylinders separately to achieve maximum effect of the “HE” filter . Concerns all twins , V-twins , three , four , and V4 engines.
The Full Race (RACE ONLY) air filter (MC-075-24-R)
The MWR Full Race Airfilter is developed on track , developed for racebikes NOT for roadbikes , not on dynometer but in real life , on track , professional racebikes with dataloggers . protection is on the same level as the performance filter & “HE” filter only for a shorter time due to the much more open structure of the foam materials.
Unlike all other sportsfilters the racefilter creates a much better , equal airflow over all cylinders , means you need to adapt fueling of all cylinders separately to achieve maximum effect of the “HE” filter . Concerns all twins , V-twins , three , four , and V4 engines
It makes the bike stronger and smoother, therefore it saves tires and fuel. Check the air filter every race weekend and always start each race weekend with a well oiled filter. This air filter is not developed to reduce the inlet noise. Due to the design features of this filter we do not recommend it for road use.
