Replace your stock KTM plastic throttle tube with the aluminum G2 Street E-Gas throttle Tube for KTM. Not only will you enjoy the ultra smooth throttle action of the Delrin bushings, you can also easily change your motorcycle grips in the future. As you probably already know, the stock plastic tube has ridges that won’t work with most grip styles. This Tube allows you to use high-quality grips like Domino, Renthal or Pro-Taper grip!
The G2 Street E-Gas Throttle Tube for KTM is CNC machined from 6061 aluminum. The tube is knurled for superior grip adhesion, and has an open end to work with your handguards or bar end weights. After machining, each tube is polished, then anodized for a brilliant finish – almost too good to cover up with a grip! Finally, Self-lubricating Delrin bushings are press fit in each end. These Delrin bushings prevent aluminum-to-aluminum contact between the G2 Street E-Gas Throttle Tube for KTM and your handlebar providing a feel far smoother than stock! This tube requires no lubrication, and will work flawlessly for years!
For all G2 throttle tubes, we recommend using GO2 All Purpose Glue from Loctite. We install more grips than most factory teams! This is the best glue we have ever used! It sets as strong as “crazy glue”, but is far more forgivable. Once applied, you have 5 minutes to adjust – 30 minutes before you can ride – fully cured in 24 hours.
