Man do these look and function great. Excellent field of view, and beautiful style. Replaced my CRG lane splitters with these. CRG's came on my S2R1000 and were broken at both screw holes (where the base tightens around the ball and at the bar end). Obviously that would be operator error, previous owner or installer over tightened them, but there isn't much material there, and seems like it would be easy to do. The design on the CNC mirror is far better, and I don't see that ever becoming a problem.
Saw the IG post for this new folding bar end mirror from CNC and asked Paul about their build quality & performance. He assured me it would address the issues I had with my current CRG LaneSplitter mirrors. He wasn't wrong at all! Not only do the CNC mirrors have a bigger lens, but the visibility & image stability is superb at high speeds! No jitters or foggy view! The biggest thing I like about these mirrors is that they stay in place. No longer do my bar ends tuck in under wind pressure! I've also had a situation where my buddy clipped one of my mirrors when moving his bike. The mirror easily popped into the outward position resulting in zero damage or scratches to the unit! Couldnt be happier with the look & performance from CNC! My new fav bar end mirrors to use, for sure!
I may be biased here as I helped CNC Racing to design these mirrors, but what can I say, they did a great job!
They listened to our inputs and we went back and forth for months, with multiple rounds of testing to make sure these mirrors were just right.
That said I now have them installed on my Monster and my XDiavel and I love them on both! 5-star all the way.
I just bought a pair of these for my Suzuki GSX-S1000F. They seem very high quality and installation was easy. I was able to use my stock bar ends to prevent any vibration and there is none. The mirrors are rock solid and vibration free. I've had CRG Hind Sight LS's in the past and they were great too but the anodizing started to get brownish in less than a year (and I always cover my bike or have it in a bike shed). I hope these hold up better. Hint: The blue coating is not a protective piece of plastic. It is a permanent feature to prevent glare from headlights. ;)
These are great mirrors. Thanks Bellissimoto for making them available.
