Overview

The Quick Release Gas Cap Plug from CNC Racing is machined from light alloy billet and then given a Colored anodized surface finish. Notable for its race-style design.  It is designed with “Fast Open” technology to make it even easier to refuel quickly both on the road and on the race track.

Ryan has a good point, the O-Ring is not necessarily race gas proof as we had this issue on our MotoAmerica MV Agusta F3 Racebike which had this cap installed on it. Anyhow the race gas would ruin o-rings in about half a season.

On the street you will never have that problem, I use this plug on 4 of my bikes at this moment alone. ;)

Fits nicely, but the o-ring seal swelled to an unusable point within 6 months, probably due to the racing fuel we are using. A replacement o-ring was easy to find at a local bearing and seal sfop.
