Overview

The new Brembo RCS Corsa Corta Radial Brake / Clutch Master Cylinder is so revolutionary it deserves it's own listing!

A huge step up from the standard Radial Brembo Master Cylinders that are original equipment on many of the best bikes available today, such as the Ducati
749/999/848/1098/1198 (use the RCS19) and  Panigale V4 /899/959/1199/1299 (use the RCS17), BMW S1000RR, Aprilia RSV4, KTM RC8, and many more.

If your bike has the M50, Stylema, or GP4-MS calipers from Brembo, (like A Panigale or Streetfighter V4) you need to use the RCS 17, otherwise Choose the RC S19

The 19mm version is designed for motorcycles with dual front calipers that have a 32mm+ diameter piston size.

The 17mm version is designed for motorcycles with dual front calipers that have a 30mm diameter piston size.

The 15mm version is designed for motorcycles with single front caliper that have a 30mm diameter piston size.

The Clutch (Left) position available in 16mm piston size.  The clutch side retains the RCS system allowing the rider to switch between 16x16 or 16x18.  The hard anodized titanium grey finish offers an identical match in style to the RCS Corsa Corta RR Brake.

There is NO provision for a switch on the clutch -If you need a switch, you can use a banjo bolt pressure switch - M10x1.0 -link below.

THE NEW BREMBO RCS RADIAL MASTER CYLINDER: THREE DIFFERENT BRAKE MODULATION OPTIONS

Brembo presents the latest evolution in the radial master cylinder concept with the launch of the new RCS CORSA CORTA. This new radial master brake cylinder features a host of innovations, with many of the technical solutions adopted drawn directly from the master cylinders used in MotoGP.

The most significant achievement is, that the RCS CORSA CORTA allows the rider to tailor the ?bite point? exactly where they want it, with an easily accessible selector on the top of the master cylinder itself (patent-pending technology).

ONE MASTER CYLINDER, THREE RIDE MODES

The selector operates a cam mechanism to let the user choose between three different responsiveness settings.

In the Normal setting, indicated on the master cylinder with the letter N, the bite point starts more gradually, making it suitable for city riding or braking in poor grip conditions.

In the Sport setting, indicated on the master cylinder with the letter S, the beginning of the bite point is shorter than in the N setting. This setting produces a more dynamic response suitable for sportier riding.

Lastly, in the Race setting, indicated on the master cylinder with the letter R, the position of the cam mechanism shortens the initial stage of the bite point even further to produce the same immediate response of the master cylinders used in MotoGP, letting the rider reach the bite point of the brakes instantaneously. This setting is ideal for use on the race track, where every hundredth of a second shaved off a lap time counts.

By simply changing from one setting to another, the rider can configure the braking response and feel of the bike immediately and predictably.

WHAT PRESSURE DO YOU WANT?

The new Brembo RCS CORSA CORTA also features the RCS(Ratio Click System) system introduced 10 years ago on the Brembo 19RCS radial master cylinder, which lets the rider select a fulcrum-to-piston distance of 18 or 20 mm by simply turning the adjuster screw on the front of the guide lever by 180° with a screwdriver.

The system uses a cam (red when set to 18 mm, black when set to 20 mm), which adjusts the distance between the fulcrum point and the contact point with the master cylinder push rod by 2 millimeters: this changes the distribution of the braking force without altering the performance of the system in terms of pure power.

The innovative adjustment system introduced with the new Brembo RCS CORSA CORTA radial master cylinder contributes to a sense of total control over the bike by letting the rider tailor braking performance to suit their riding style, the weather and road conditions. A commitment to product improvement has allowed Brembo to offer three different master cylinders in one and to bring the performance of the braking system as a whole to another level. Combined, the choice of two fulcrum-to-piston measurements (18 and 20 mm) and three bite-point settings (R, S and N) offer a total of six different settings.

MOTOGP SOLUTIONS

The master cylinder housing is machined from forged aluminium with 5 axis CAM technology. The ultra-hard oxidised surface finish chosen for the master cylinder housing ensures outstanding wear resistance and extremely low friction between moving parts. The floating piston and gaskets are the same as the components used in MotoGP, as are the bleed and brake fluid delivery circuit couplings. These are inclined by over 30° to facilitate bleeding of the master cylinder.

The development of the 19RCS CORSA CORTA also included a design project to create a coherent style for all the components of the master cylinder itself, and as a result, the 19RCS CORSA CORTA has a distinct, dynamic and sporty look which is perfectly in keeping with the visual identity of the motorcycles for which it is intended (application for registered design/model submitted together with patent for the technology used).

The lever assembly can be replaced without removing the RCS (Ratio Click System) system from the master cylinder and, therefore, without altering the settings made during assembly of the master cylinder in the Brembo Racing workshop.

EVOLUTION OF THE SPECIES

The Brembo radial master cylinder has revolutionised braking systems over the past few decades. Conceived originally for racing use, over the years it has become an increasingly sought-after solution for Supersports and Naked bikes. Despite its appearance on production models, the radial master cylinder is still a thoroughbred racing solution and continues to be used in MotoGP.

Now every rider can drastically improve the braking performance of their motorcycle and experience the many benefits of Brembo's decades of experience in braking systems by simply replacing the original equipment radial master cylinder with a Brembo radial product.

Hey guys, Randy from BellissiMoto here, and I personally have these on a bunch of my bikes because this really is just the best feeling and performing Brake Master Cylinder on the planet.

I'm super grateful for them being on my 998 Bayliss, as I needed every bit of the performance they offered to me on the highway when traffic came to a screeching halt and my escape path quickly disappeared. Anyhow, don't be happy with stock, not when you can have such high levels of performance at such a reasonable price.

My Ducati: Panigale V4 Speciale, Streetfighter V4S, 1098R, 998 Bayliss, and probably more that I just can't remember at this moment...
Also on my BMW S1000RR M edition, and my Aprilia RSV4.

I purchased the RCS16 Corsa Corta Clutch MC to match the RCS19 RCS Corsa Corta BRAKE MC, I love their looks, even more than the Brembo billet line

This RCS Corsa Corta Radial Brake setup is amazing and one of those upgrades you thank yourself over and over and over again for doing. It has changed the front breaking on my K5 and the option to select a setup for multiple scenarios are awesome sauce! It also looks amazing and just gives the bike an a great look. This is a must for all hard core riders either on the track or street! It's built like a tank and going to last for may years. If you do this, swap out your brake lines (if you haven't already) with high end SS lines as well. Brembo is a brand that you can trust and can't go wrong with!

Decided I really wanted a proper front brake feel for my Yamaha FZ07. The stock system felt like a click brick with nom modulated feel or brake response. It was either on or off lol. Replacing my brake lines for SS braided lines paired with this 19RCS master cylinder, my front brakes are dreamy now! There is so much response feel throughout the whole lever pull! With the many configurations it's easy to switch between inclimate weather braking conditions & full send canyon carving! I can see why all the pros turn to this front brake system! It is pricier than most other competitors sure, but what is your life worth? "The fastest racers use the most brakes." I can totally understand what they mean now. The confidence this system gives you to late brake into turns and trail smoothly in/out of them is how I feel every bike should come from factory! It'll be one of the single best mods you can do to become faster in the motorsports world. Once you use it, you won't be able to go back to anything less!

more hyperealistic, on a highway where he is more zoomed out
