Designed with an intermediate oval shape to fit the majority of head shapes in the North American markets, this helmet delivers a consistently round and smooth shell that maintains the Glancing Off shape concept. The rounded chin bar keeps shell length compact, reducing protrusion and making it less likely to catch or dig during a spill. Super Fiber construction offers approximately 30% higher tensile strength than standard fiberglass and increases penetration resistance, while Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction (PB-CLC) enhances overall shell integrity. A chin bar vent grill is installed on the rounded chin bar and mounted from the outside on an exterior vent cap for easy removal, cleaning or damage replacement; the vent cap is also designed to break away from the chin bar in the event of impact. The Air-Through top-rear-duct center brace doubles as a goggle-strap locator, and diffusers can be removed or replaced quickly by removing a single screw on the rear-duct center brace. Air outlets on the peak are larger to compensate for increased lift and are made from durable yet extremely flexible material, mounted with plastic screws engineered to break on impact so they won’t snag and transfer excess rotational force. Emergency release cheek pad design gives trained medical personnel easier access to an injured rider, reducing the chance of unintentional injury. A removable neck roll allows convenient, thorough cleaning of the helmet.
