Shell construction uses PB-SNC2 technology with Z Resin and Super Fiber plus synthetic reinforcing fibers, reinforced by an internal structural net and peripheral belt for high tensile strength, excellent glancing-off properties and reduced weight. A smaller, lower VAS pivot cover and smooth temple-area shell further enhance glance-off ability.
Advanced ventilation includes an Internal Air Channel that pulls hot/moist air from the eye port through ducted channels behind the cheek pads, IC Duct5 with a three-position slide gate to limit water intrusion and road noise, and a Diffuser Type 12 air intake with three positions for improved sealing.
