A dual-function lever releases both the side cover and shield pin for quick, tool-free shield changes, while the enlarged VAS latch captures and securely holds the shield closed and features a de-mist positive stop for intuitive operation even with heavy gloves. VAS Max-V (BV) shield is standard and a clear Pinlock? insert is included to help prevent fogging in all seasons.
Advanced shell construction: PB-SNC / PB-SNC2 shell formulations use Super Fiber, special synthetic reinforcing fibers and Z Resin bonding for high tensile strength with reduced weight. An internal Structural Net and Peripheral Belt further reinforce the shell with minimal added thickness, enhancing Glance-Off ability through a smaller, lower pivot cover and a smooth temple profile.
