Engineered for long rides and everyday comfort, this helmet blends advanced aerodynamics, purposeful ventilation and rider-friendly features for touring and sport-touring use. A shallow 3D ARAI logo duct (3.5 mm) feeds two central 10 mm intake ports to improve low-speed and upright-position airflow; its short-stroke top lever can be operated easily with summer or winter gloves and is designed to break away on impact. The one-piece aerodynamic rear exhaust/spoiler, operated by a 3-way switch and inspired by high-performance designs, is repositioned for touring to draw air through three shell ports, smooth cross-flow and reduce buffeting—improving high-speed stability and decreasing rider fatigue. Built thin and light, the spoiler is engineered to crush or break away without affecting protective performance.
Ventilation is completed by a 3-position sliding air-scoop chin vent with a replaceable filter and a thicker, glove-friendly actuating mechanism. The shell uses Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction (PB-cLc2) with an extra layer of super fiber belting to maintain rigidity where needed while providing flat sides for easy intercom installation. The design accommodates external communication systems without compromising the inner EPS liner; a discreet stitched opening in the neck roll allows tidy routing of speaker wiring. With the Variable Axis System (VAS) the visor sits lower—adding an average 24 mm across the temple area—for a smoother shell shape that helps glance off energy. A 5 mm flare around the opening makes putting the helmet on and taking it off much more user-friendly.
