Overview
The swingarm spool is mounted to a special, black-anodised stainless steel bracket (included with the kit). The product will give protection to the swingarm area in most crashes. Also, the bike can be lifted on the swingarm spool using a paddock stand with hooks. These cotton reels are specifically designed to fit the Honda NC700S & NC700X '12-'15 and have the ability to be fitted with a R&G bike-specific toe guard thanks to a mounting point already present on the cotton reel bracket.
R&G "Cotton Reel" swingarm spools are used in conjunction with a paddock stand to raise the rear tire off of the ground. This allows for easier routine maintenance operations, such as lubing the chain or cleaning the rear wheel and swingarm.
Special Note: An R&G Toe Guard (not included) can be install into this product with no modification to the swingarm required, it simply screws into the bottom of this swingarm spool bracket.
