The Spears Racing rear brake rotor is purpose made to Spears Racing specifications, the appearance is amazing and the weight is the biggest thing we are striving for. Unlike most of the competitors that believe they have the lightest rotors, the Spears Racing rear rotor is made with AISI 420 Stainless Steel is a martensitic stainless steel with magnetic properties, good corrosion resistance, high hardness heat treatment in the quenched state, Removing the addition material in the sweep area is what we have done is reduced the area of contact with the brake pad(s) along with the overall thickness of the rotor, you will still have control of the ability to modulate you brake pressure.
Spears Racing kawasaki Ninja 300/400 rotor attention to detail and the lightest rear brake rotor on the market only weighing in at Less than one lb. Currently in Manufacturing it will be approximately 9.90 oz./ 280 g and over 1.5 lbs than oem units.
This rotor is being used in MotoAmerica by several of the top teams, you only loose the ability to use the OEM Speedometer once installed.
Laser cut from top quality stainless steel, heat treated and tempered. Used in FIM WSS300 , MotoAmerica Junior Cup race teams and club racers all over the world.
