Jealous of that guy on the Red Superbike, his clutch rattling like its
gonna fall out, but you KNOW that is how its done in WSBK and MotoGP,
and when the clutch engages the clacking disappears and a bass growl
turns into a scream as you FLY away at the light... but don't want to
lose comfort or utility?
Then the Multistrada 1200 is the bike
for you! First its basically an upright superbike. That isn't me trying
to sound cool, it literally has the engine from the 1198 SBK (yes there
are some driveabity modifications) its got tall suspension, comfy ergos
and saddle bags! yet, it can still chase down most modern superbikes.
If you can only have one bike, this is the one to have.
One
of my favorite things about THIS generation is the fact it is still
Cable controlled throttle so yes its got ABS and all that, but YOU are
the one controlling your throttle, not a computer....
I have done a 1000 mile ride on it in absolute comfort -cant say that about most Superbikes
And this one has all the modifications to make it one of THE Best examples.
It
already comes with electronically controlled adjustable Ohlins
Suspension (with stiffer rear spring since the OE is too soft), heated
grips, Touring crash bars, the short carbon Termignoni slip on with the
Leo Vince cat delete, Rapidbike Evo to handle the tuning, and an MWR air
filter (yeah the brand used by the winning teams in WSBK and WSS). But
it doesn't stop there, Samco hoses, lots of carbon fiber, adjustable
control levers, Fender Eliminator, integrated tail light, Motogadget
M.view Mirrors (no glass Highly polished aluminum that is plasma coated
for scratch resistance -you gotta see them to believe how amazing they
are) Radiator guards, Axle protectors, touring footpegs, adjustable
control levers (hand and foot) Gilles reservoir caps, Braketech front
and rear rotors, New tires, and pads, Oil change and service done at
15000 miles, lightweight drive train conversion to 520 pitch with a very
awesome flange and carrier by AEM, LED Headlight conversion, Frame hole
Plugs, Techspec Tank pads, Quick release gas cap, Luimoto Seat covers,
and Gold gel pads, assorted aluminum faring fasteners, lighter shift
spring, and included are the parts needed for GP, (reverse shift) as
well.
THE PHONE MOUNT IS NOT INCLUDED
I did originally
have a dry clutch conversion on it, but one of my friends wanted it so i
put the original Wet clutch back on with the Billet CNC Racing clear
clutch cover, Pressure plate and Ring
I also replaced the
original Key with a new upgraded one that actually works -you will also
get the original Key and the Red key as well, but that original key
barely works - they never did - this is a $300+ issue that is already
sorted- your welcome!
